Thai Peanut Butter Popcorn

Ingredients:

Popcorn, freshly popped 5 quarts
Banana chips 1 cup
Peanut butter, crunchy 3/4 cup
Oil 2 teaspoons
Soy sauce 1 teaspoon
Garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon
Cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon
Kosher salt 1/4 teaspoon

Method of Preparation:

1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees.
2. In a very large bowl, toss the popcorn and banana chips to mix.
3. In a saucepan, combine the peanut butter, oil, soy sauce, garlic and cayenne pepper, using a whisk to mix until well-blended.
4. Add this mixture to the popcorn and banana mixture and use your hands to coat the popcorn evenly with the sauce.
5. Place in a thin layer on a sheet pan and bake in the oven for 10 minutes, tossing several times during baking.
6. Remove from the pans and let cool for a few minutes before sprinkling with salt. Toss well and serve.
