Bourbon Apple-Pecan Crisp

Ingredients:
For the Topping:
3/4 cup old fashioned oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/8 cup granulated sugar
1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup butter, room temperature

For the Filling: 
2 1/2 pounds tart apples
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1 tablespoon flour
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
1 cup chopped pecans
1/4 cup bourbon
2 tablespoons butter      

Method of Preparation:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degres.  Butter and 8x8 baking pan.
2. Combine all topping ingredients and set aside.
3. For the filling, peel, core, and slice the apples.  Combine the sugar, flour and cinnamon and mix into the apples. Add the pecans and bourbon; toss to mix. Spread apple mixture into prepared pan. Evenly spread crumb topping over filling.
4. Bake for 35 minutes or until top is golden and apples are tender.  Serve warm.
