Brownie Fudge Pudding
(Serves 6)INGREDIENTS
- 3/4 cup flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 and 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- pinch salt
- 1/3 cup plus 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 tablespoon butter, melted
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 1 and 3/4 cups boiling water.
- Heat an oven to 250 degrees.
- Lightly spray a square baking pan.
- Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt; mix well.
- Add 1/3 cup of cocoa powder and mix well.
- Add the butter, milk, vanilla and cream to batter, beating well.
- In another bowl, combine the brown sugar and the 1/4 cup cocoa powder; mix well.
- Spoon the batter into the baking dish and sprinkle with the brown sugar mixture.
- Pour the boiling water on top without stirring; bake for 30-35 minutes until a knife inserted comes out clean.
- Cool for about 10 minutes, and then serve.
