The Warwick Musical Theatre—affectionately called the “Tent”—closed about 10 years ago.
Bonoff said there are thousands of items and that as the last musical promoter in his family, he was concerned about what would happen to the artifacts in the future.
Bonoff said the items represent 45 years of Tent history. The photographs, posters and tickets were collected by members of Bonoff’s family.

As a former Rhode Islander, and also a former URI student, I think its great that the items are going to be donated and catalogued there.
I remember the theater quite fondly, I saw Harry Chapin there a year before he was killed in a car crash and had tickets to see him again at the tent. I have since moved to the Pacific NW but I will always remember the Warwick Musical Tent and the wonderful entertainment brought there by the Bonoff family.
I loved this theatre!!! I remember my days when I worked at 92 PRO FM. We had some great times and there wasn’t a bad seat in the house. Those were the days…
