Our turnto10.com video pick comes from the midwest. In Fargo, North Dakota, high school and college students have been let out of class, to help fill, tie and move sandbags.
The Red River has surged five feet in one day—threatening to bring record flooding, that could spill into hundreds of homes.
As of Tuesday morning, The National Weather Service reported the river was just below “major” flood stage, 30 feet, well over initial flood stage which is 18 feet. And it’s expected to rise even higher.
Officials hope to have 2 million sandbags, by Friday, to keep the river within its banks.
