PROVIDENCE—Two veterans of the Broadway musical “Rent” are performing with the traveling show at the Providence Performing Arts Center.

Anthony Rapp and Adam Pascal were on the ground floor of the musical 12 years ago.

“Rent” is a take on the opera “La boheme,“ but it is set in Greenwich Village, New York. It tells the story of artists, love and survival in the age of AIDS.

The two actors told NBC 10 they’re glad to be back. (Watch interview above.)

“Rent” continues at PPAC through Sunday.

This show was FABULOUS!  Well worth it!  I saw it on Tuesday night and I had chills during “Seasons of Love”.  If you get the chance, take time to see this cast.  They were great!
