Starting in 2010, five more movies will be filming in Rhode Island.
Filmmaker Michael Corrente and local businessman Chad A. Verdi are producing them.
The first film will chronicle the life of Cranston boxer Vinny Paz—his rise in the boxing world in the 1980s, the car crash that nearly crippled him in the early 1990s, and his remarkable comeback.
“The True Story of Vinny Paz” is scheduled to begin production early next year.
