Emma Watson confirms she’s going to Brown

Emma Watson, star of the “Harry Potter” series of movies, has confirmed she will attend Brown University in the fall.

Watson’s choice of school has been the subject of rumor and speculation for months. Her name has been linked to a number of Ivy League universities.

But Watson confirmed in an interview with Paste magazine that Brown is her choice.

She told the magazine that it’s inevitable that she’ll be recognized as celebrity.

“But I do hope that it will be only a short time before I am known as ‘Emma Watson, the student from the U.K.‘ rather than ‘Emma Watson who starred in those Harry Potter films,‘“ Watson said.

Co-star Daniel Radcliffe spilled the beans about Watson going to Brown earlier this month, but she didn’t immediately confirm it.
