DEDHAM, Mass.—Papa Gino’s is partnering with a New England dairy group to increase the amount of locally-produced cheese it uses in its pizzas and sandwiches.

The Dedham-based company announced Thursday that it will add four new menu items this month using Vermont Cheddar cheese at its Papa Gino’s and D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches restaurant chains.

Papa Gino’s said it worked with the New England Dairy Promotion Board to increase its purchase of Vermont Cheddar by about 174,000 pounds a year.
