New Dunkin’ Donuts to be built in Marion

After years of legal battles, construction is finally underway for a new Dunkin’ Donuts in Bristol County, Massachusetts.

The new coffee stop will be built on the site of the old L’Auberge Restaurant on Route 6 in Marion.

The Dunkin Donuts was first proposed back in 2000, but many residents complained that it would tie up traffic and change the character of the town.

The planning board said the unique design of the building will fit well with the other properties in Marion.
