Bank experiences problem with debit cards

PROVIDENCE—Thousands of Citizens Bank customers had trouble using debit cards over the weekend.  But officials from Citizens Bank told NBC 10 that the problem has been resolved.

The bank recently issued new debit cards and some customers found their cards were rejected at checkout lines and ATMs.

But according to the bank, on Monday morning the glitch has been corrected and customers should not experience any more issues.
