Celtics open preseason against Rockets

HIDALGO, Texas—The Boston Celtics open their preseason schedule Wednesday night in Texas against the Houston Rockets.
While the Celtics stress there’s been no trouble with Kevin Garnett’s repaired knee, they are trying to ease Garnett back to playing strength.
Garnett will be closely monitored for any problems.
