Residents lose water after main breaks

SOUTH KINGSTOWN, R.I.—Some residents in South Kingstown didn’t have any water Thursday morning.
Officials said a water main broke near the corner of Main and River streets. Crews responded quickly to repair the problem.
Company officials say problems like this aren’t unusual this time of year because of the temperature fluctuations. About 20 customers were affected.
