PROVIDENCE—A defendant accused of fatally stabbing a Norwich, Conn., man outside a Providence nightclub has been ordered held without bail.

Narin Kheng was arraigned Wednesday in Superior Court on charges of murder, conspiracy and possessing a weapon in the death of 22-year-old Jeremy Olearnick.

The 27-year-old Kheng and 19-year-old Antonio DiSano face identical charges for the slaying. Prosecutors say they were leaving Level II, a downtown club, on Dec. 6 when they ran into Olearnick, who had just left Club Hell with his friends.

Authorities accuse Kheng of stabbing Olearnick, then fleeing the scene.

It was not clear whether Kheng had an attorney. He’s due back in court on Sept. 24.
