Fire damages restaurant

NARRAGANSETT, R.I.—Firefighters were on the scene of a restaurant fire in Narragansett Thursday morning. The fire was at the Red Stripe restaurant on Point Judith Road.

Officials said there was a fire in or near the dumpster that spread up the side of the building. The fire caused about $10,000 worth of damage to the restaurant.  Red Stripe will be closed while cleaup is done and repairs are being made.
