Compassion Centers will now begin to sell medical marijuana to patients who are registered with the state.PROVIDENCE—Medical marijuana has been legal in Rhode island for some time now.
But, in something of a Catch 22, there was never a place to but it legally. Until now.
Lawmakers Tuesday voted to override the governor’s veto of the so-called compassion centers.
