Attleboro man dies in Bourne accident

BOURNE, Mass,—State police are investigating a fatal crash that occurred in the Otis Rotary in Bourne.
Police say a man lost control of his pickup truck shortly after midnight, Sunday morning crossed into the woods and slammed the truck into a tree.
A rear passenger, Robert Coffey of Attleboro, was pronounced dead at Falmouth Hospital.
The front seat passenger, 53-year-old Karen Coffey of Attleboro, who was wearing her safety belt, suffered serious injuries and was transported by ambulance to Falmouth Hospital.
32-year-old Shawn Potrzuski of Attleboro was arrested and charged with Motor Vehicle Homicide, Operating Under the Influence of Liquor, Operating Under the Influence of Liquor Causing Serious Bodily Injury, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Speeding.
