I-95 south reopens after crash

STONINGTON, Conn.—An accident on Interstate 95 south between Exit 93 and 90 shut down the roadway on Wednesday.

Police confirmed that just before 11 a.m. a tractor trailer jackknifed on I-95 south along with a two-car crash at the same location.  The crash happened between Stonington and North Stonington, right near the Rhode Island border.

There is no word on injuries.  The raod was closed for several hours while the crash site was cleared but reopened at about 2 p.m. Wedesday.
