Many consumers are finding that the front-loading washing machines can develop a moldy smell.
The way the tub sits on its side means water can stay in the machine and turn stagnant. The tight fitting rubber gaskets can then develop mold.
Experts recommend leaving the door open between cycles and running the machine with just hot water and bleach once a month.
