Menu Settles With Pet Food Owners

Canada's Menu pet foods, whose contaminated pet food was linked to the deaths of thousands of dollars and cats, has announced a tentative settlement with pet owners.

Menu recalled tens of millions of pounds when a chemical used to make plastics was in found in the product.

The chemical was traced to contaminated wheat gluten imported from China. Menu recalled its products last year at a cost of nearly $54 million. The product was sold under individual store brands.
