It's being called a personal trainer for the brain.

A new computer program is geared toward children and adults who have what is known as a working memory deficit.

The Cogmed Working Memory Training is designed to be used with all ages -- from preschool to seniors -- and the Neurodevelopment Center is one of two places offering it in our area.

The initial screening at the center is free. The cost of the at home individualized computer program is $1,500.
