Ranch Dressing

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons water
1/2 teaspoon dill weed
1/2 teaspoon dried parsley
1/2 teaspoon dried basil
1/2 teaspoon thyme
1/2 teaspoon pepper
1/4teaspoon minced garlic
1/4 teaspoon paprika
2/3 cup buttermilk (see Note)
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon cider vinegar
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
1 teaspoon sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Method of Preparation:

1. Put water in a small bowl and add herbs and spices. Whisk and allow to set for 5 minutes.
2. In medium bowl, whisk together the buttermilk and mayonnaise. Add water/herb/spice mixture, vinegar, mustard, sugar and salt. Whisk well until smooth. Pour into a jar and shake well. Store in refrigerator for one week.

Note:  To make your own buttermilk, add 1 tbsp white vinegar or lemon juice to one cup of whole milk.
