NBC 10 News caught up with former Boston Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling at the Super Bowl in Indianapolis.
Schilling moved his video game company, 38 Studios, to Providence last year. The Rhode Island Economic Development Corp. offered his company $75 million in loan guarantees to move from Massachusetts.
"We wouldn't be here without Rhode Island, without Providence, without the speaker, without the governor, without a lot of the elected officials being concerned about creating jobs. And in this economy that we're living in right now, regardless of Republican or Democrat, they crossed the aisle to put something together that's created 400 jobs and we'll continue to grow," Schilling said.
38 Studios is scheduled to release its first single-player game, "Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning," on Tuesday.
