Restaurants settle lawsuit over use of 'Angelo's'

»  Comments | Post a Comment

A court fight between two Rhode Island restaurants called "Angelo's" has been settled.

Angelo's Civita Farnese in Providence and Angelo's Palace Pizza in Cumberland agreed to acknowledge each others' trademark rights.

Angelo's Civita Farnese on Federal Hill agreed not to open a restaurant that adds the word "pizza" to its name.

Angelo's Palace Pizza will make sure its sign contains its whole name, not just "Angelo's."
