About 641,000 Bobby Chupete pacifiers, manufactured in China and imported by Grand World Inc. of Maspeth, N.Y., are being recalled because the mouth guard is too small, creating a choking risk.

No injuries have been reported.

The pacifiers were sold nationwide between November 2004 and July 2009 for about $1. They have a ring-shaped handle and heart-shaped mouth guard with two ventilation holes. The nipple is made of latex.

The words "Bobby Chupete" and a picture of an infant are printed on the pacifier’s packaging. They were sold in aqua, red, white and yellow.

The Consumer Product Safety Commissoin said consumers should immediately take the recalled pacifiers away from infants and toddlers and contact Grand World for a refund or a replacement pacifier.

Consumers can find out more information by calling 718-326-7786 or online at Grand World or the Consumer Product Safety Commission.
